Being one of the innovators and first in the game I was anxious to get out on the Inland Surfer Air Series. The overall shape is much different than your traditional board so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The Air Series had a lot of drive and speed while staying in the wave with no effort. What surprised me the most was how much pop the Air Series had. It’s not the lightest of boards but is very easy to air. The Step Tech gives extra propulsion making the board super fast. Overall a fun board that will help you master airs.

The Hyperlite Time Machine was another board that really surprised me. A quad setup on a larger board had me guessing how it would ride. The Time Machine has great speed and control allowing it to stay in the wave with little effort. The thing that surprised me the most about the Time Machine was how well it slashed and held rail in the pocket. It’s a little bit on the large side for a performance style board so for me it didn’t have the greatest pop. The cork top deck was extremely comfortable on the feet and you don’t have to worry about slipping. A must have board in any boat.
