MILITARY INSPIRED COLORWAYS INFILTRATE SPY’S CROSSTOWN COLLECTION

CARLSBAD, Calif.—Giving a stylized nod to the past, SPY has released the M65 colorways—an extension of its popular Crosstown Collection inspired by ‘50s and ‘60s fashion, music and a fondness for The City.

“Crosstown has been an exciting journey for us as a brand, and the M65 colorways are a continuation of that,” says Brent Sandor, SPY brand manager. “Focusing on the color palette that shaped military aesthetics many decades ago, the M65 colorways are a natural addition to the current Crosstown styles that provide an entirely different visual appeal.”

Coating select styles in subdued hues that fall somewhere between overkill and overlooked, these wearable matte colors draw inspiration from the ever-timeless M-65 military field jacket—a fashion staple that merges classic style with utilitarian versatility. MSRP for Crosstown’s M65 colorways is $120, and are available with the Mercer in Cadet, Yonkers in Army, Haight in Stealth and Beachwood in Navy.

Found at hand-selected retailers November 1, the M65 offering perpetuates the high-standard features the Crosstown Collection is known for, including custom metal detailing, handmade Acetate construction and CR39 lenses with anti-reflective inner lens coating for maximum optical clarity.
