I’m all about unsigned bands this year and these guys are at the top of my list. This six-man band really has their music dialed, which is rare for such a young band. Only a year and a half old, In Fear and Faith’s new album Voyage is that of a band that has been playing together for years. Screaming lyrics, guitars, piano, and drums, they do it all. You can compare there sound to those of the top scream bands today; Saosin, Emery, Underoath, Silverstein, and A Static Lullaby. But don’t call them followers because In Fear and Faith puts there own twist on the screamo/hardcore genre. If you don’t have this CD yet and you like screaming, I suggest you pick it up. If your music store doesn’t have this CD, they need to get it. (Side note: Cody, Lead Screamer of In Fear and Faith, is a pretty good wakeskater. So the next time these guys are on tour and stop in your town, take the band out on your boat and maybe Cody can teach you how to slam dance and wakeskate at the same time.)
