By the time you read this review, Metro Station will have been on tour for a good part of two months and still have two more months to go. But don’t feel bad for these guys; this is there first time ever on tour. It’s tough to make it in the music biz but now with the right combination of talent and the Internet, anyone can make a go of it. Metro Station’s self-titled album is no exception to the myspace, Internet, first time album explosion. Their catchy dance hooks and poppy sounds make it easy to listen to, no matter what kind of music you’re into. It’s hard to compare Metro Station’s unique sounds to any other bands out there but I have a feeling they got a lot of their influences from bands like Shiny Toy Guns and Plushgun. This album is a must have for anyone who isn’t afraid to dance while they rock out. Trust me, chicks dig it.
