I know what you’re thinking. My Chemical Romance? That was so 2004. The then black-haired band of death driven lyrics and the now red haired upbeat group of misfits have done some growing up and so has their music. After writing an entire album, recording that album, then scrapping most of what they had just done to start all over again, the road to completion wasn’t easy for My Chem’s newest release Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. After cutting their drummer My Chem felt it was time to redo what was undone. So they did what they do best, recorded twelve tracks that will bring life into the group that once sung about nothing but death. Check out My Chem’s first single on the new album cleverly named “Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)” and the energy inducing jam “Planetary (GO!).”
