The Canadian indie scene has blown up over the past few years and a lot of that has to do with talented bands like Yukon Blond. With back-porch melodies like the opener “My Girl” and the lap slapping beats of “Iron Fist,” this Vancouver crew has our ears at attention and hoping for more. They’re also no strangers to the road. They’ve traveled with the likes of Edward Sharpe and Good Old War hitting 100+ stops along the way. Also check out the Devo like track of “Radio”, which has a hint of “Whip It” in there.
