This photo came from a recent day shooting with a bunch of the Oak guys in Jacksonville. This was the last spot of the day and a pretty intimidating one. Matt and Dave Hansen both managed to get a lot higher up than thought possible. The landing is pretty sketch with a bunch of rocks and about shin high water. There wasn’t any sun hitting the spot so luckily I had brought a little flash for help. It’s a bummer still photos don’t capture sound as the best part was the sound of board sliding on thick hollow aluminum. A few tries later from this same angle, Dave kept sliding and almost took me out.
