Less than a week after winning “hair of the year” Reed Hansen felt his life was complete, and has officially shaved his head. I didn’t believe it myself, but I really doubt Reed is good enough at photoshop to pull off these photos otherwise. When asked why he did it, Reed replied, “For pure speed. Same reason Dale Earnhardt had a mustache.”
Reed would like to send a shout out to his barber, Jon Shell a.k.a. J Flow. and thank all the little people who made it possible. Wakeskating will certainly miss Reed’s flowing locks, but the charity its donated to will be sure it is put to good use. And we’ll always have our memories. Tear.
