This past weekend wakeskaters from all over Florida converged at the Amy Root Benefit Rail Jam. Amy Root is a young girl who was hit by a car in the New Smyrna area over a month ago  and is currently in the hospital fighting to make a full recovery.  Tons of people came out to show their support for Amy’s family and also to have a good time which was a breeze with free beer, food, and live music. The pool gap was an added attraction for spectators to watch riders throw themselves down the drop. Riders included George Daniels, Scott Byerly, Brandon THomas, Stu Shin, Travis Doran and more. Everyone had a great day riding and hanging out with friends supporting a great cause. Big thanks to all the volunteers who put on the event and the sponsors who made it possible.
