Recently, there has been a lot of gossip about Atlanta and the surrounding areas in our industry. One thing some of us have known for some time now is that Georgia has been waiting for the winch. The last week was filled with nine of the craziest kids, cops (suck), not beer, and insane winch gaps…from which I’m still picking up my house and getting my life back in order. Gracing us with their charm and charisma, 420 films, 12 Gauge Wakeskates/Winches, and The D.S.G., descended on central Georgia to create one of the most groundbreaking winch tours ever to hit the state.

The trip kicked off at Lake Lanier for the collegiate event, Camp Pitch-A-Tent. The rain made the cold set in, but that didn’t stop anyone…the cops did. We bailed everyone out and by that time we were all riveting to go. From then on, it was spot-to-spot day in and out. Nothing could stop these kids. They set out on a winch journey and that is exactly what they got. With Vinny Knapp and Russell Brightwell dropping hammers all over the place, it was hard not to get amazing footage. To see more on what the D.S.G. and friends are up to check it out the up coming movie” Were Just Skiing”. Or log onto atlwake.com and lasewer.com for more updates. Thanks and look for much more to come.
