After getting a bit bored of spending all day every day at the cable park, Dominik Gührs and Fredy von Osten wanted to try something new this summer and embarked on a quest for unusual spots away from the cables. Their first trip took them with a winch and kicker to the mountain lake of Weißsee near Uttendorf, Austria, which at 2365 meters above sea level has to be one of the highest places man has ever ridden a wakeboard. This is part one of a 3-part series, so look out for the next spot in a couple of weeks time.

    Wow guys… Just wow. I would have killed to ride there with you guys- (on a wakeskate) The mountain lake was an awesome idea. The purest water ever ridden on maybe?
