2011 USA Wakeboard National Championships To Be Held June 24-26 In Oklahoma City, Okla.

Wakesurf Nationals and Cable Wakeboard Nationals also set for June 24-26

USA Wakeboard, in conjunction with the Oklahoma City Convention & Visitors Bureau, is pleased to announce that it will hold three national championships events, June 24-26, in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Headlining the weekend will be the 13th USA Wakeboard Nationals on the Oklahoma River in downtown Oklahoma City. In addition to the USA Wakeboard Nationals, the three-day event also will include the 5th National Wakesurf Championships and the USA Wakeboard Cable Nationals.

The USA Wakeboard Nationals, National Wakesurf Championships and USA Wakeboard Cable Nationals will be open to men and women of all ages and all levels of riding. The events are part of USA Water Ski’s National Championships Series of Events. A USA Wakeboard membership is required for all events. Membership and registration information will be available at www.usawakeboard.com.

It marks the second time in the past three years that USA Wakeboard will combine three national championships into one weekend. The 2009 USA Wakeboard Nationals, National Wakesurf Championships and USA Wakeboard Cable Nationals were held in the Dayton-Cincinnati area.

”We had a lot of positive feedback from the riders after the 2009 national championships,” said Chris Walker, president of USA Wakeboard. “We wanted to find another venue in which we could accomplish holding three national championships in one weekend, and we feel we have found that in Oklahoma City.”
