2014 Photo Grab Bag – Dubai
Each year many of us wakeboarding photographers are left with many unused photos. Over the remaining weeks of 2014 I will post some of my favorite “leftovers” from throughout the year. Let’s kick things off with the Body Glove team trip to Dubai last April. When heading over to an area like Dubai for a wakeboarding trip, you go into it knowing you’re going to shoot a lot of photos. A lot a lot. And many of those will not see the light of day for multiple reasons, but documenting a trip like the Body Glove one to the Arabian Gulf was a ton of fun. Thanks to our hosts at Xtremewake UAE we were able to do a lot more than just wakeboard, and everything provided for great photo opportunities. The story ran in the Oct/Nov issue of Alliance Wake, here are some extras I really liked.
When you go to Dubai you have to go to the Burj Khalifa. Actually it’s so tall you don’t have to go to it, you can see it from miles and miles away.
