Humanoid Circus (Randall Harris)
MSRP: $600
Lengths: 136, 141, 145

The Vandall’s signature ride is back for 2017 with some new twists. A solid wood core with a stiffer layup, combined with a carbon fiber sheet make the Circus ready for a big air show. The aggressive, continuous rocker allows you to hold speed on takeoff and landing. Simply put, if you understand how Randall rides, you’ll understand how this board works.

“The Circus was built to add power, speed, and grace to your riding. The large surface area creates maximum pop and extended hang time while the clean, simplistic base allows for continued speed on ultra smooth landings. The sculpted sidewalls increase board strength and reduce torsional flex for rapid acceleration on edge and heavy line loading.” –  Randall Harris

Humanoid Langfield Pro (Mitch Langfield)
MSRP: $390
Lengths: 141, 144

Mitch Langfield’s pro model from Humanoid is for the dedicated pack of park riders. Internally, the board is built with a new ‘3 Side Ply’ wood core giving it even more flex over last year’s Langfield Pro – which, by the way, was very popular in the Board Test. They dressed the board up with the help of New York street artist Annie Preece. We aren’t sure if this creature lives on land or sea but appears to be equally at home on both.

“We got such a positive response from my board last year, I’m really pumped for people to put this new version on their feet. The new core design makes the board even more responsive in the park. We created a graphic collab with street artist Annie Preece. She kills it! The look of sculpted sidewalls along with the the durability of the board make me proud to call this board my own.” – Mitch Langfield

Humanoid Huxtable
MSRP: $420
Lengths: 126, 132, 138, 142

The Huxtable is Humanoid’s all-around board and for 2017 it’s added a few new features to make it even more so. By inserting fiberglass between the feet, the Huxtable gains a stiffer belly area, which help it provide more pop off the wake, as well as improving the landings off big airs. The stiffer belly doesn’t affect the tip and tail though, which still retain their signature soft flex pattern that keeps the board fun and lively in the park. If you’re a park rider who also has fun shredding behind the boat on occasion, you can throw on the four fins and go at it.

“I’m pretty pumped on how fun this year’s Huxtable is on the water. We kept the thin profile from last year but added a piece of fiberglass between the feet, which really improved how well the tip and tail flex, but keeps the middle stiff for more pop and soft landings. The deep rail channels increase traction when riding finless and the scooped out tip and tail help lock in on pipe rails. The Huxtable flexes well on features while still having soft landings off kickers and behind the boat.” – Clayton Underwood

Humanoid Howl
MSRP: $340

The Howl is Humanoid’s lower profile binding for increased flexibility in the upper ankle. Utilizing their V Fly system, the Howl only has two velcro straps that work together to create a super snug fit. The baseless chassis helps get your foot as close to the board as possible to ensure solid contact and control, while drainage holes throughout the sole help prevent dreaded swamp foot.

“The Howl is a lightweight, low-cut binding with increased flexibility that gives you the freedom to poke and bone without limitations. Look Ma no laces! Just two velcro straps make for super easy entry and exit so you can spend your energy riding comfortably.” – Randall Harris

Humanoid Odyssey
MSRP: $360

humanoid_odyssey_17hw-ody-vr

The Odyssey is built to restrict any unwanted ankle movement when riding. This is Humanoid’s highest collar boot for riders who prefer a more locked in, secure feel. The I.L.L. Closure System gives you three separate locations to customize the feel: upper and lower springless lace locks and an optional upper velcro strap.

“My favorite thing about the Odyssey boots is how they hug my ankles. The upper and lower lace systems let me customize exactly how I want the binding to fit and feel, while the upper strap keeps the tongue pushed against my shin. Even with all the support, I’m still able to poke and press with ease, though.” – Clayton Underwood
