(Oregon City, OR) It’s that time of year again. The leaves are falling, snow can be seen on the mountains, and most boats are being put away for the winter.  There’s only one more event to attend before the end of the 2009 season…..  The Active Water Sports, “Evening With the Stars”!

For the past 21 years the Friday before Thanksgiving has been dedicated to getting AWS customer’s ready for next season’s fun of boating and water sports.  This year will be bigger than ever with the addition of Malibu Boats and Axis Wake Research. These two new boat brands will complement the prevailing lineup of MB Sports, Moomba, and Supra. Active Water Sports will offer savings up to $20,000 off MSRP on select 2010 model’s and huge discounts, they can’t even talk about until the event, on NEW in stock 2008 and 2009 boats.  All wake, ski and boat accessories will be on sale as well, with discounts up to 50% on remaining 2009 product.

Los Gringos Grill, serving food with inspiration from Mexico and the American Southwest, will be catering this year so get there early. Factory reps from the top brands in the Wakeboard, Waterski, and Boating industry will be on hand to answer questions and of course give away tons of free swag.  This year’s lineup of wakeboard stars includes Ronix Wakeboard’s Danny Harf, Liquid Force’s Kevin Henshaw, Slingshot’s Jeff Mckee and Shred Town Crew, Byerly Wakeboard’s 2009 “King of Wake” Aaron Rathy, and a ton of local riders.  For skiers, Chris Sullivan and Will Asher will be previewing the newest technology in the 2010 Radar and HO slalom ski lines.
