  1. Nicholas Levi Kelly Says:

I voted for Cameron Pugh’s video but someone needs to tell the idiots riding in it to put a damn life jacket on. Everyone makes mistakes whether it’s your first time in the water or your landing a 1080. Don’t Drown. Put a jacket on!

  2. Ben Wilcox Says:

Are we voting based on riding, or cinematography? #1 needs to lose the point and shoot video camera.

  3. Jp Says:

these both suck, what happened to the vids from earlier?

  4. Jeff Seid Says:

yeah, I wasn’t impressed with either of these. good riding, but nothing impressive with the shooting/editing.

Also, even if youre not, it looks like you are trying waaay too hard when you ride without a vest.

  5. 3rdCoast Says:

Riding w/o a vest is hugely douchtastic. There’s no justification for it and it makes whoever is doing it look dumb.

  6. Patrick Wieland Says:

This is a filming/editing contest guys.

Please keep your comments some what happy. Constructive criticism is appreciated. These guys are not claiming to be pros or anything like that.

  7. Really? Says:

I agree with JP. I couldn’t get all the way through either of these……..kinda hard follow up from the 2 videos from earlier. What happened to those?

  8. Patrick Wieland Says:

Also the video battle that started this morning… One of the filmers withdrew their entry and Chase Sellmeyer won out of default

  9. hmmm. Says:

with all these vest comments it seems like theres too many dads or cops on here..

  10. Bruh Bruh Says:

There should be a button for neither.. Double elimination as in eliminate both of em haha. There should be a pre screening or somthing..

  11. Sync it up! Says:

The music was distracting in both videos…

Both producers should sit back for a while and watch some P. Weiland edits…

  12. sk8 Says:

no vote, i puked on the keyboard and mouse…

  13. anonymous Says:

These guys have every right to do whatever they want, no matter how stupid it may be.

I may support their right to stupidity but I won’t support their stupidity itself. No vote.

  14. Some Who Knows Says:

Pretty critical comments for guys that know nothing about videography. Try standing on a boat with a $8,000 camera that you paid for and get the same shots. To the guys who submitted their videos: Don’t give up on your dreams.

  15. ZachWN Says:

I wish i could have all that time watching these videos of my life back.

  16. Joe Blow Says:

Topless riding should only be done by the women in your boat, video’s could use a little work but it looks like your all having fun.

  17. Brittney Says:

Both videos are great…I would ignore the negative comments. You both did a great job!!!!!

  18. hatesdouchebags Says:

All u cock suckers commenting on how they suck… get off the fucking internet and do something productive… u are worthless cocksucking fuckers

  19. daniel Says:

Whats with all the haters??? I think both videos are awesome!

  20. Dan Says:

The reason I wasn’t thrilled with either video is that there is a lack of creativity. The riding is great (they’re all way better than me), but the shots and editing lack variety. It’s not a riding contest, it’s an editing contest. Most of the videos are shot from the boat or POV with a GoPro. These edits are fine for messing around and putting up on Youtube for friends etc, but for entering a contest, they’re just simply boring. Watch a few professional wakeboard videos, and you can see where I’m coming from.

  21. Ian Zinner Says:

such a loving community the wakeboard world is

  22. Adam Bernier Says:

So I really liked the idea of the transition from helmet cam to shore or boat shot, but I think it was a little rough on the editing.

Thought Pugh’s video had better flow and was a little more in tune with the soundtrack.

Not a fan of the riding without a jacket, no one’s so badass that they can go without.

  23. bob Says:

All of you fucks can take your stupid dumb comments about not wearing a lifejacket and shove it up your ass.. If someone doesnt want to wear a fucking lifejacket they dont fuckin have to…Have a good day you fucking fucks!!!

  24. Darinka Says:

Hi Kenny Thanks for inspiring us to do tihngs differently in 2011. I love it! I actually blogged a similar message about a week ago. I’ve made up my mind that I’m going to live life with much more passion and conviction this year; especially after hearing that wonderful sermon Pastor delivered this morning! Continue to keep the great blogs coming! Happy New Year -KLJ
