Here before your e-viewing eyeballs are the first two competitors in this digital gauntlet, both hoping to continue on for a shot at the super schwaggy Buywake.com prize pack. In case you need a refresher, here’s how things are going to shake out.
- The following videos made it to Semi Finals!
- Online viewers vote for the video they think is best
- Winning video from each battle will be automatically entered into the final tournament
- Losing video will be forced to suffer in e-purgatory (we don’t know what that means yet, but we’ll come up with something appropriate)

Bezemek’s video got my vote. A lot less video of just messing around. The riding wasn’t on the same level- Kirby was really hitting some pro tricks in Sutherland’s video!
Sutherland’s video had a lot of things that were taking away from the incredible riding… The “wake effects” logo is annoying and unnecessary- especially in a video contest. The song choices could have been more original, and the whole ‘this is alliance wake’ part can go.
I think for these contests you should actually make a video for a contest only; instead of using an ‘update’ type video. I see great potental from Sutherland/Liesmann though!

Definately agree with some things about #2 but it got my vote mostly becasue I liked the variety of the shots. #1 was nearly all the same angle, sick angle, but all the same nonetheless. I also didn’t really feel the music in #1

I like video #2 but not those stupid parts of him talking. Bezmek has already used that video earlier on, but I still like some of his camera angles. good work guys

Bezemek’s video definitely has my vote on this one for many reasons. If this so called “wake effects” company wanted to shoot a documentary on their riders they definitely could have displayed the message in a different way other than using very dull humor. I lost interest after the first 5 seconds of watching the “Sutherland” video.
Bezemek’s video had displayed some amazing shots of the “Pure Michigan” lakes. It’s no wonder why people are saying Michigan has the largest supply of freshwater in the entire world and Bezemek’s video has even more meaningful hidden messages within this edit. Pollution sucks so don’t F*** up our Pure MI lakes with Oil spills.

Both videos were awful!!! Had to force myself to watch both all the way through. I did not vote for either video because neither deserve to be in this contest!!!

both videos were terrible the second one good riding but played around to much the first one same angle to many times.

all the people talking crap need to get out there and do something of their own. it may be possible that these video’s weren’t specifically made for a contest and maybe more to help the riders out with a little bit of coverage. i don’t see anything wrong with entering a video like that in a contest like this except that so many people just want to hate. if you think it sucks, make something better instead of telling us about it

the first video is way more interesting to watch! may not have the best riding or camera angles, but it holds your attention with only wakeboarding, not cooking or biking.

Bobby’s video get the vote here. Going bigger that Ryan on nearly all tricks. Ya he jacks around in his video but thats the life of a wakeboarder wake up people. God forbid he show a little personality. In response to reppin MI Freshwater… gimme a break… “It’s no wonder why people are saying Michigan has the largest supply of freshwater in the entire world “… Ill tell ya why its not cuz of Ryan’s video… its just a studied fact. Has nothing to do with his technique or style of wakeboarding. Ryan didn’t make the land of 1000 lakes. Bobby gets the vote for going big, showing his personality, keeping it real, and dynamics. BOOM RROASTED!

michigan has the best wakeboarders and this contest is definately about videography not tricks. one of the riders in bezemeks video has his knee injured and was still goin big. Michigan is the best state, everyone who voted sutherland is jelly. u mirin’ brah?
