Seattle, WA (June 16, 2011)- This just in…The World Wakeboard Association announced today that not one, but Two Golden Tickets will be awarded at the upcoming event at Tug Lake June 25-26th. The Northwest INT League will host the sixth MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour qualifying event in Vancouver Washington next weekend. Two Outlaw riders with the highest score for the weekend will receive a Golden Ticket to ride with the pros at the Monroe, WA Pro Tour Stop on July 9 in front of thousands of fans and sponsors.

The Golden Ticket program is a collaboration of the PWT, WWA, INT and MasterCraft Boats.  It means big change to the way riders challenge on the PWT.  Local riders have the rare opportunity to qualify at an event near their home, saving them hundreds in travel expenses.
It’s not all about going pro…This event is for beginner through pro level skiers and riders of all ages; featuring rip stick swervers, 50 year old dads on a wakeboard, 5 year old kneeboarders,  and slalom divas. The theme for the weekend is Battle on the Boarder, wear your Huskies vs Ducks gear!
There will be free camping on Friday and Saturday night, you are welcome to bring your crew and enjoy the camp fire. Some practice will be held Friday after set up and Saturday night, first come, first serve. On Saturday evening we do a potluck, INT will bring the grill so you can throw your meat on and bring a side dish or dessert to share.
What to Bring: INT will provide the best waterski and wakeboard boats and a private waterway for smooth competition. Please bring your ski or board and a life jacket. You can bring your own handle for slalom or rope and handle for wakeboarding, although one will be provided for you if you don’t have one.
