BOARDSHOP GRAND OPENING ON LAKE ANNA

Discount Prices On Boards, Tubes, Clothing And More

Bay Watersports is excited to announce the opening of its mobile board shop located at the new Lake Anna Yacht Club. The Board shop, located on the Louisa side of the Rte 208 bridge, can be accessed behind the New Bridge Deli or by boat and opens Fridays from 3 PM until dark, Saturdays from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sundays from 11 AM to 4 PM.

“Our goal is to offer affordable gear for summer boating fun on Lake Anna. We carry wakeboards, wake surfers, wake skates, pull-behind tubes, life jackets, board shorts, t-shirts and more at discounted prices,” says owner Rich Coutts. In addition, Bay Watersports team riders offer wakeboard lessons for everyone from those who don’t know how to put on a wakeboard to experienced wakeboarders working to master new tricks. Team riders have also been known to offer water ski lessons on occasion.

As a division of Bay Watersports (www.baywatersports.com), the shop will have Mastercraft boats available for test drive and purchase. Bay Watersports also offers dock side service and repair for most inboard and outboard motors at Lake Anna.

“I’m really excited to be able to introduce people to wakeboarding,” says owner, Doug Barmoy. He also enjoys providing a venue and events to support up-and- coming riders. Bay Watersports helped sponsor the successful grass roots wakeboard tournament held in Pigeon Cove (Lake Anna) during the 2009 season. Doug and partner Rich plan to host another tournament in the same area this July. Bay Watersports will also be hosting Friday night boat demos leaving from the board shop at 6 PM beginning June 11 (weather permitting)

Doug and Rich invite anyone interested to stop by, check out the shop and join them or the team riders in a round of corn hole. For additional information, you can reach Doug at doug@baywatersports.com or 443-340-7830 or Rich at 540-223-5450.
