Lake Gaston Big Air Fair

The mid-Atlantic’s toughest pro double-up contest is back! Starting at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 11 on the water at Eaton’s Ferry Bridge, pro wakeboarders from around the world will hit massive double-ups and throw their sickest tricks either to be crowned Big Air champ or earn the Gnarliest Crash Award in their attempts to win it all!

Come by land or by water to watch your favorite wakeboarders compete, check out vendor booths, rack up on sponsor give-aways, enjoy music and announcing provided by Get Wired VA, and grab dinner at The Point before the awards ceremony and autograph session at 8:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

This is one event you don’t want to miss! “We’re back for round two, and this year the Big Air Fair is going to be a knockout,” said Fields. “Last year, Pro Rider Gordon Harrison won the title, but this summer, pro wakeboarders from all over the world will travel to Lake Gaston to battle Harrison to be the 2012 Big Air champ!”
