Three event has a whole new meaning in college watersports. Coming to Dallas, Texas October 18th and 19th is the first ever College Wakeboard, Wakesurf and Cable event all in one weekend.

Teams from all over Texas will be converging on Lake Lewisville and the town of Little Elm to compete for a national ranking and some great prizes. Saturday will host the wakeboard and wakesurf event at Little Elm park from 9am until dark.

This will be the third stop of the season for the College Wake Series with #4 Texas A&M making their second appearance as well as #8 Baylor looking to boost their national ranking. The event is expected to host 7 college programs in it’s 6th year running.

Thanks to the family at Centurion Boats and Brigade Wakesurfing, we were able to launch the College Wakesurf Tour. Already, we have seen the impact this expansion is having on the college programs. Teams are able to grow their member numbers as well as ride more than once at each event.

The College Wakesurf and Wakeboard will be mixed throughout the day to offer a change of pace. Beginner wakesurfing will kick off the day at 9am followed by wakeboarding until 1pm. From 1pm -2:30pm will be Advanced wakesurfing and the day will end with the rest of the wakeboard divisions.

Sunday will kick off the first stop of the 2014-2015 College Cable Tour at Hydrous Little Elm. Teams will be competing to earn the first national ranking of the year.

Don’t miss the Centurion NightCrawl either Saturday Night at Tower Taphouse in Little Elm. This will be where the awards for the College Wake Series and Cable Tour will be held just before the NightCrawl takes place!
