The Collegiate Cable Tour is finally here and it is going to be a wild ride! The three most recognized cable parks in the country have been friendly enough to allow the tour to come through.

Stop 1 heads to the Texas Ski Ranch this weekend, March 24th. Thanks to CWB and Hyperlite, the riders will not only be going home with some amazing prizes, but also be allowed to demo some gear to see what they might find as the perfect set up.

The park opens and registration begins at 9am and riders will have an hour to warm up before the event kicks off at 10am. The divisions include Beginner, Women, Skate, Intermediate and Advanced.

“Keith Lidberg has rewritten the judging format and we are excited to bring something different and revolutionary to cable contest,” said Levi Dills of Empire Wake. “We know this tour will be different then all others in cable riding and that is just want the college scene is all about.”

As long as you are a current college student you are welcome to ride. Top 3 of each division will receive prizes from all our supports and top teams will get the invite to the first ever Collegiate Cable Championships (location TBA, Date: Mid September)

The day will be full of giveaways, riding, raffles, demos and games. It’s free to spectators and you can hang out in the Red Bull Lounge by the lake. When the event ends and awards are out, we are all sticking around for a fun afternoon together with music, and riding.

All riders will have an all day pass thanks to the amazing staff at Texas Ski Ranch! There will also be a night ride offered from 8 to midnight! The park is open to anyone as soon as the event ends.
