October 4th – 7th / BSR Cable Park / Waco, TX

Day 1 of the National Points Championship saw over 120 riders take the water in Amateur Wakeskate, Beginner & Intermediate Wakeboard take to the water. The competition was fierce in what has already turned into the biggest and best championship to date. On the last possible day for registration, the total rider count climbed to over 220 registrations.

BSR Cable Park has worked out to be the ideal location to host the 2012 event. The staff and site have welcomed riders from all over the country with the Texas hospitality that TSR began with the initial event 3 years ago. One of the countries newest parks has quickly become the favorite for many of the riders that have visited from one of the other 12 participating parks.

After Day one OWC holds a slim lead over Cowtown in the team point lead, while two time defending champion TSR has their work cut out, currently tied for fifth overall. Tomorrow the Pro Riders take to the water and Saturday will be the qualifying rounds for the structure only competition. With a total cash purse of $10,000 we can guarantee the riders will be competing till the end for their share of the money.
