Empire Wake’s Collegiate National Championships Using ShadowBox

Empire Wake’s Collegiate National Championships in Austin Texas will be the kick off to a great 2010 season with new supporter ShadowBox (www.shadowboxlive.com). The product will be used throughout the entire event in various interactive ways from Big Air double up contest to replays of rider’s runs. In so doing, Empire Wake will become the first wakeboard contest series to embrace and utilize the product incorporating it into videos, judging, and interactive events.

“We are very excited to be the first to use this at all our tour stops across the country,” says Rob Mendieta, owner of Empire Wake. “Bringing in new ideas to keep our events forward in wakeboarding is very important to us and will continue to make the events more fun for the riders and spectators.”

Shadow Box will be out at the event with their co-founder Dan Meyers, Contest Coordinator Casey Hauser and new owner Ladd Christensen all weekend April 15th – 18th demoing and showing the new software and devices. Make sure you come out to Empire Wake’s Collegiate National Championships and see all that ShadowBox has to offer!
