Head to New Smyrna beach this Saturday March 20th to catch some of your favorite wakeskaters and wakeboarders ride at the Erie Surf factory! It’s the second year they have put together a rail jam and it’s all for a great cause! Wakeboarders will include the Shredtown Crew, Nate Perry, Myself and more. As for the wakeskaters, a bunch of those indie kids with jean shorts and mustaches will be there too! Haha. Sorry bad joke. Like I said all the top riders are heading out (maybe even a bit early to catch some surf…Apparently the waves are good right now)! Check out the note below from event organizer Matt Pearce. See you there!

“We are raising money to help Amy Root a young girl that was hit by a car on the way to her bus stop and has been in a coma ever since. Erie Peples and I have been working hard to put this event together and its really coming along well. Last year Scott Byerly and Brandon Thomas helped us out and this year we are stoked to be running the event once again!  We will have 3 bands playing, free beer, free food, raffels and door prizes! $10 dollar donations at the door will go directly to the Amy Root’s recovery!  The event is being held at the Erie Surf factory located at 2203 cow creek rd. Edgewater FL starts at 10a.m. We are really excited to do this again it was lots of fun last year and it will be even better this year! You can check out the web site Act4Amy.com to see the story and check her progress.”

Thanks for your support, Matt Pearce
