Atlanta, Georgia (April 9, 2018)- Action Event Group, LLC announced today that registration for the 2018 Georgia Wake Series presented by WaterSports Central is now open at www.gawakeseries.com. Back and bigger than ever, The Georgia Wake Series is just one month away! Opening as a back to back weekender, the first round begins Saturday, May 5th at Terminus Wake Park, followed by round 2 at Lake Spivey on Sunday, May 6th, an all-new venue just south of Atlanta.

As the most balanced grassroots series in the country, with four park and four boat events, champions will be crowned in both disciplines in addition to the coveted overall tour champion for each division. In order to ensure fairness across-the-board, a rider will only be eligible for the overall championship in the highest division in which they have participated.

After a successful 2017 season that saw championships going to the last round as a result of a progressive points system, we are maintaining the same program for 2018. This proven system allows riders to advance classes throughout the year and remain competitive for the championships. The goal of the Georgia Wake Series continues to be providing a fun yet competitive environment that promotes and encourages rider progression. Visit the website for more information on classes, rules, and points.
