ORLANDO, FLA (October 30, 2012) — Last week four Nautique employees had the opportunity to visit African mission organizations that Nautique supports in Kenya and Uganda.

The Nautique employees visited orphanages, schools, a clinic, feeding center, an institute, radio station, vocational school and other services provided by the organizations to the people of Kenya and Uganda. The Nautique employees also discussed ways they could further support the organizations they visited.

This most recent trip was part of the “Nautique Cares” program. As part of this program, started in 2007, Nautique employees have served various organizations in Central Florida and last year built a house in our local area with Habitat for Humanity. Additionally, as part of the Nautique Cares program, Nautique employees have traveled across the globe the past five years serving organizations and people in places like Mexico, Ethiopia, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and the last two years on the Apache Reservation in Arizona.

Additionally, Nautique’s parent company, Correct Craft, has been working with non-profit organizations around the world in an effort to transfer knowledge to the non-profit organizations which help them be more operational. Examples of the knowledge transferred to the non-profits include strategic planning and effective team-building.

Correct Craft’s President/CEO Bill Yeargin, who joined the team on the trip, stated “Our team was thrilled to visit with people who are doing so much to help the citizens of Kenya and Uganda. It is amazing to think we can use our resources to support such worthy causes.” “Equally exciting were the discussions we had regarding how we can help the organizations in the future. We discussed providing strategic planning support and even having Nautique produce a Leadership Conference to be held in Kenya,” Yeargin added.
