US-Boys Parks Bonifay and Keith Lidberg at Red Bull Wake The Line

Parks Bonifay and Keith Lidberg are two more US-athletes to complete the rider line up at Red Bull Wake The Line in Cologne. Now the top riders from the US could compete against Europe’s best riders. New obstacles, $10.000 prize money and four separate pools connected by kickers and rails make a total of 320meters of wake heaven.

Parks Bonifay has pushed the level of riding like no other in the past two decades. At the age of 14, he won his first X-Games Gold and he is also five time Pro Wakeboard Tour Champion. In 1999 he landed the first 1080 in Wakeboard history, a trick no one else achieved for seven years. Last year he received Wakeboarding Magazine´s “Legend” award at the age of 26.

Keith Lidberg is one of the most complete Wakeboarders in the world. He rides both behind the boat and cable on a top level and is a rail killer too. He recently won the CWC rail park contest at the WWA Wake Park World Championships in the Philippines and is former 3 time Wakestock Rail Champion .

The company UNIT Parktech sat down with some of the riders and thought about how to build the sickest wake playground, connecting the 4 pools at the stadionbad together! Thanks to the portable wakeboard cable system Sesitec 2.0 it's possible to ride the pools in both directions creating at 320 meter long competition setup. This is plenty of space to crank out some crazy tricks and smooth runs.
