AUSTIN, Texas – September 19, 2013 – QuestATX, Austin’s first and only wakeboard cable park, has announced that the facility is officially open to the public. The cable will be operating six days a week from noon to dark. Set to be one of the most unique cable parks in the United States, QuestATX has completed the first step in their journey towards becoming Austin’s first complete action sports destination.

The 130-acre complex is equipped with a modern 6-tower Sesitec operating system, only ten of its kind produced to date, along with UNIT Parktec rails and a System 2.0. CTRL will be supplying the rental wakeboard equipment. Local artists were also commissioned to help the project including Curtis Jenkins, of Neighborhood Studios, who designed the logo; and Adam Young, of Old Crow Custom Works, who designed the building and gate entry.

“We plan to mold this place into something very unique for Austin,” said Earl Ball, Owner and Operator at QuestATX. “While our goal is to establish a strong cable wakeboarding community, we’re also building a lifestyle. We have big plans and 130 acres of land, so we’re excited to work hard and see what the next year brings.”

The facility will currently offer private wakeboard lessons with professionals, and will rent the space for parties and events. The cable park lends well to beginners, as well as the most advanced wakeboarders in the world. In true Austin style, the complex will have food trailers onsite, a swimming area for beach-goers and is currently building a stage for live music.

QuestATX is located at 10815 Fm 1625, Austin, TX 78747, only four miles from the new Circuit of the Americas. For additional information, pricing and to stay up to date on all park developments, visit www.questatx.com.
