ABILENE, TX – Tigé Boats announced today that it has promoted Rick Correll to President of the company. Correll has served as Tigé Vice President and General Manager for the past 18 months after joining the company in 2006.

With 30 years of experience in the marine industry, Correll has worked at every level of the manufacturing process for some of the largest manufacturers in the marine industry. He has also been involved with developing innovative ideas that have resulted in several patents within the industry. Since joining Tigé, Correll has been in charge of the entire manufacturing process as well as overseeing the company’s administrative and sales/marketing functions.

“Rick has helped guide Tigé through one of the most challenging periods in the marine industry,” said Tigé CEO Charlie Pigeon. “His leadership and experience are a big reason for Tigé’s current excellent financial strength, our continued growth and our outstanding position in today’s inboard market.”
