Wake for a Cause at Terminus Wake Park

On Saturday, August 15th, Terminus Wake Park is hosting their second annual Wake For A Cause charity wakeboard contest. Riders will get to ride for a charity of their choosing for a winner-gives-all cash prize that will go to benefit their chosen charity:

1. Beginner Wakeboard

7. Outlaw Wakeboard

DIVISION SCORING:
Beg. Wakeboard: 50% Sliders / 30% Kickers / 10% Ollie Tricks / 10% Composition
Int. Wakeboard: 35% Sliders / 35% Kickers / 20% Ollie & Air Tricks / 10% Composition
Adv. Wakeboard: 30% Sliders / 30% Kickers / 30% Air Tricks / 10% Composition
Womens Wakeboard: 50% Sliders / 30% Kickers / 10% Ollie Tricks / 10% Composition
Outlaw Wakeboard: 30% Sliders / 30% Kickers / 30% Air Tricks / 10% Composition

FORMAT:
The contest will be a jam style format. Each division will include heats of riders eliminating each other for a chance to advance to the semifinal and final rounds. Each heat will be 7 minutes long (with the time starting as soon as the last rider gets on the water). Falls will not be counted; therefore, all riders can run back to the dock and get back on the water within the 7 minutes. All riders will have only 7 minutes to complete their runs and put down their best tricks.  The rider(s) with the best tricks will move on to the semi-final and final rounds. This is an elimination tournament.
