Watson, Soven & Harrington will ride at AquaFest 2011 Costa Rica.

Nuevo Arenal, Costa Rica – FlyZone Costa Rica is excited to announce that Liquid Force team rippers Shawn Watson, Phil Soven and Collin Harrington will be in Costa Rica later this month to ride at the biggest watersports event in Central America, called AquaFest 2011.

SM Producciones in cooperation with FlyZone Costa Rica host this watersports feast for the third consecutive year. Last year’s edition saw an estimated 10,000 visitors, when Bob Soven and Kevin Henshaw left the crowds in awe.
This year the event for the first time will host two editions, one in the capital city San José on the 27th of February, and one week earlier on Sunday the 20th at Lake Arenal. This last location especially promises to be spectacular, as the event will take place at the base of the active Arenal volcano.

Collin Harrington: “I’m stoked. Definitely want to do some surfing there too. It’s gonna be a good time!” Sander Werink, owner of FlyZone Costa Rica:”this is so important for the wakeboarding scene in Costa Rica. Not many people here even know of the sport’s existence but this is guaranteed to fire everybody up.”

Besides wakeboarding, exhibitions and races with jetski’s and PWC’s will take place during this free-entrance event, and more.
