WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 24, 2018)—The Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour, the largest and longest-running professional wakeboarding competition circuit in the country, continues its 26th season with a return visit to Acworth, Georgia, on May 19 at Lake Allatoona’s Dallas Landing.

Last seen on the tour in 2015, Acworth is renowned as the best wakeboard party venue in the Southeast. Thousands of fans are expected to travel to Lake Allatoona by car and boat to experience exceptional athlete performances fueled by the energy of a 300-plus boat flotilla.

The family-friendly event features the world’s top 16 professional male wakeboarders as they compete for cash prizes and the top spot on the podium during the second competition of the four-stop series. The first competition of the year took place on April 14 in Chandler, Arizona.

“Lake Allatoona’s Dallas Landing is an awesome venue for both spectators and the competitors,” said Chris Bischoff, Director of Operations for the Pro Wakeboard Tour.  “Fans can cheer on the riders from their own boats, the sandy beaches or while cooling off in the water. Whether you come from land or water- there really isn’t a bad seat in the house.”

In addition to wakeboarding, the tour includes a wakesurfing division. This up-and-coming sport is performed by riding a boat’s wake without the use of a tow rope.

The Supra Boats SA550 returns as the official towboat for the 2018 tour. Known for its clean, consistent and controlled wakes, the SA550 provides a balanced ride, strict handling and the platform to push athletes to the next level.

The Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour returns to Acworth on May 19 at Dallas Landing on Lake Allatoona, 5120 Allatoona Drive, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance at a discounted rate of $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12 or at the gate for $10 adults and $5 children.
