What do you get when you mix a video premiere, a costume party, and the entire wakeboard community? What else but Scott Byerly’s annual Halloween bash.  If you were lucky enough to attend this event, then you already know that it was an amazing time as always.  The night began with everyone checking out each other’s costumes and the viewing of a teaser to the new issue of Volume Wakeskates. This was more of a 15-minute hammer fest than a teaser though. With a Nick Taylor pro spotlight, a day in the life of Clint Tompkins, and a plethora of never before seen toe jam footage, it is looking to be one of the best issues of Volume Wakeskates to date.

Next was a costume contest. Hosted by none other than Dan-O the pirate, needless to say, it was hilarious. Once he had everyone off the dance floor it was time for the contestants to strut their stuff for the judge. Kim Byerly had her work cut out for her deciding between a bunch of people in colored spandex, pro wrestlers, and even a guy molesting a sheep.

In the end it was a great night full of dancing, laughing, and even some occasional sword fighting.  The costumes were amazing and it is always awesome to see everyone dressed up. Hopefully the pictures speak for themselves and I cant wait to do it again next year.
