Centurion’s 2013 Enzo SV244 to tow WWSC
|CENTURION’S 2013 ENZO SV244 TO TOW WORLD WAKE SURFING CHAMPIONSHIP
Merced, CA September 25, 2012; While Centurion Boats has been the official towboat of the World Wake Surfing Championship since its inception, the Centurion Enzo models have been the towboat since 2007. The new 2013 Centurion Enzo SV244 workhorse will be the official towboat of the World Wake Surfing Championship in Parker, AZ later this week. Already credited with the hull that creates the longest, hardest, most defined wave in the industry, Centurion has stepped it up again. The new 2013 Enzo’s will come equipped with Centurion’s new Wing Plate and Quiet Tip Exhaust, and will also debut the all-new Surf Platform, three innovations that all make the SV244 wave even better.
Les Clark, Vice President of Production said, “The Wing Plate & Quiet Tip are not a trim-tab and silencer, they are components of the Centurion wave production system that carefully sculpt the wave to perfection.” The Centurion design staff has developed these innovations to work in concert providing the exact same World-Class wave on both sides of the boat, regardless of the propeller’s rotation; while eliminating the turbulence introduced from the exhaust port on the wave’s face. Lastly, the Surf Platform was added to ensure that the wave remains intact, retains a clean face and provide a powerful punch.
Centurion will have demos available on site at the World Wake Surfing Championship at the BlueWater Resort & Casino.
