Cheers to Parks Bonifay – Red Bull Toasted closes the curtains
Lift your glass and say a toast as we honor wakeboarding legend Parks Bonifay at Red Bull Toasted. More than 2,000 Friends and Foes Gathered to Commemorate their Favorite Ski Baby at Hard Rock Live Orlando
After receiving more than his fill of jokes, stabs, and pranks it’ll be no surprise if two time X-Game Gold Medalist winner, Parks Bonifay, decides to throw in the towel come Monday after 2,000 of his closest friends honored him with Red Bull Toasted at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando on Friday night. A twist on the traditional “roast,” Red Bull Toasted aimed to honor both Parks’ career highlights and even some… well, lowlights – all in good humor of course while celebrating the man who many have claimed to be the world’s greatest wakeboarding free rider with more decorations and accomplishments than any other rider.
KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE
Hosted by celebrity commentator, Sal Masakela, the event brought fans, friends and even random strangers together for a night of tribute and entertainment as Parks Bonifay got the toast or rather “roast” of his life. “To me a roast is about how much a guy is loved,” says Sal. “The more people really go in for him and really tell the stories and the jokes; it really demonstrates how much a person’s loved.”Returning to the notable Hard Rock Live Orlando where Bonifay’s biography film was premiered, Red Bull Toasted featured celebrity guests including professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler, stand up comedians Dan Levy and Tammy Pescatelli, and wakeboarding influentials 2007 Rookie of the Year award winner Adam Errington, four-time World Champion Shaun Murray and legend Zane Schwenk.
“To have all my close friends in the crowd and on stage making fun of me and complementing me sometimes… it was a big night,” Parks explains. “I’m still a little choked up.” A 30 minute show of Red Bull Toasted featuring Parks Bonifay will air on FUEL TV later this year.

Sheckler acted like he was all of 9 years old and genuinely was everything I expected, meaning, he was nothing but an overrated disappointment. Seriously, he SUCKED. Parks owns that little spoiled crybaby… why was he even there?

Thankfully Parks outgrew his Ron Jeremy man-crush and shaved off his crappy mustache… Must-a-been a good time though!
