Team Supra Rider Cory Teunissen takes Wisconsin by storm

winning the final stop of the Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour and prestigious breakthrough moment award.

MARYVILLE, TN (August 3rd, 2015) Skier’s Choice would like to congratulate Supra Team Rider Cory Teunissen on a season ending win at the last stop of the Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour in Janesville Wisconsin.

Supra boats team riders Cory Teunissen, Austin Hair and Daniel Powers headed to the final stop of the Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour in beautiful Traxler Park in Janesville, WI over the weekend. With beautiful weather and world-class facilities courtesy of National Show Ski Champions, the Janesville Aqua Jays, the scenario could not have been better for a showdown of the best riders in professional wakeboarding gunning for the title of 2015 Supra Boats PWT Champ.

The main event was intense with all six riders unable to keep it upright throughout their first runs, leading to a showdown in the final heat as each rider had one more opportunity to stomp their tricks and solidify their spot in the 2015 Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour final standings.

Team Supra rider Cory Teunissen came out charging in his first pass locking it down with a solid heel-side 900 and then completely stunning the crowd at the close as he stomped the first-ever wake to wake 1080 in competition to round out his winning run.

“That run was a perfect ending to the first Supra Boats Pro Wakeboard Tour” said Justin Burke, Marketing Manager for Supra Boats. “Cory deserves a ton of credit, he has been working hard and we’re stoked on his performance this season”

Cory followed his win up by earning the prestigious breakthrough moment award with the first 1080 landed in competition, and when the water settled he took home 2nd place overall in the 2015 Supra Boats Pro-Wakeboard Tour.
