My name is Tom Kohl I am one of the 5 riders of the newly assembled HO Pro Kneeboard Team. Up here in cold Minnesota the lakes still have ice on them, but the snow melted fast and we couldn’t wait to ride so we took advantage of the floods! Armed with our winch and our rails we set out to find the perfect flooded out area to ride, built a rail and rode rails all day. The wakeboarders didn’t know what hit them!! Thanks to Seek Joy productions we got some awesome footage! This is just the start of a kneeboard revolution! There will be a wake video to come soon too!

Sick Tom! Wake boarding and kneeboarding are two sports that should join ventures and help each other scale the wake to new heights. Kneeboarding is at a new level to what most of the current wake boarders are aware of. I have great respect for wake boarders and think that any respectable athlete wether it be wake boarding, football, ice hockey or any other sport, for that matter, would respect what a good deal of the more talented kneeboarders are throwing down.
Either way if your hitting the water shred the Gnar and have a good time, catch it on video and share it with the world.

Definitely sweet video Tom, and you’re the right guy for this team for being innovative in several ways. A few new tricks, and you’ve brought winching to the kneeboard world in a public way which I have yet to see anyone else do. I’m loving the comeback kneeboarding finally seems to be making. The obstinate people who think that wakeboarding and kneeboarding are the same thing except the former is superior will have little bearing on the outcome. Asking ‘why not just wakeboard and such questions is as obtuse a question as asking why a wakeboarder wouldn’t just slalom ski. I look forward to more video as the season progresses.

Why the hell do people insist on talking crap. Who cares what you ride. It’s a board and usually involves a wake. Kneeboarding and “skiboarding” were once known as the world of “wakeboarding”. Like it or not, Wakeboarding roots includes kneeboarding. Shut up and ride.

Thanks guys for all the support!! I agree with KM, dont talk crap just RIDE!!!! I couldnt have gotten this far without Dan kohl and Josh Tranby the two of best wakeboarders I know. Who cares what we ride, just kill it!! and push it to the limits.
