Check it out check it out…8.6 is here. There is a box of 100 issues sitting outside my doorstep and right now I’m in the process of turning them into wall paper that will cover every inch of my bedroom…I’m thinking I’ll put the Danny Harf interview right above my futon, The Sunshine State of Mind story will go above my bed, and the cover will line the inside of my garbage can…Hahaha! I kid I joke, so much fun to poke….Reed Hansen your cover will be cut into horizontal strips and using my glue stick I will paste it onto the ceiling fan blades so that way when the fan is set on high it will look like a big slow moving blur of you doing a kickflip down a HUGE gap.

Let’s get serious folks! As I mentioned Danny Harf is selling his BMW which you will soon know all about after reading his interview. Also you can get the inside scoop on something most people don’t even dream of; Getting a barrel at Teahupoo.

The Sunshine State of Mind trip takes you across the beautiful state of Florida while traveling with some of the world’s best wakeskaters. Photographer Bryan Soderland fills us in on the highs and lows of their trip including Danny Hampson’s death defying ride through a Gator infested retention ditch all just to do a frontside bigspin down a 5 foot drop. Crazy if you ask me.

If you haven’t heard of this contest called the “Toe Jam” then you’re in luck because on page 100 there is coverage of the 5th annual wakeskate event held at the Projects in Bithlo, FL. Reed Hansen and Nick Taylor are at the top of the running once again and Reed has a few new tricks up his sleeve. Beware…

Alliance brings back the ollie contest on page 106 and let’s just say that 51” is not out of the question. Shawn Watson and Andrew Adkison battle it out for the top notch and Watson ends up on top. Either way you can take Andrew’s word for it, jumping over a stack of 2 X 4’s all afternoon can literally become a “huge pain in the ass”.

All this and much more for the low price of $4.95…that’s cheaper than the coffee you’re holding right now…
