It’s that time of year again!  The holidays are over and everyone is itching to break out that new gear.  After all of the back to back boat shows and the Mardi Gras season, it will be time for the south’s largest wake fest, Louisiana Spring Fling 2009.

LSF is a four day event in the heart of the south’s swampland that brings all of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi’s best together for one big party.  When the founders of Spring Fling got together and created this event I don’t think they had it in their minds that it would last this long or turn in to the fun packed event it has become and this year’s event promises to be the biggest and craziest ever. LSF is running eleven years strong and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

LSF 09 will have a something for everyone to enjoy.  LSF kicks off on Thursday May 14th with Vendor set up and an all day free-ride.

Friday the 15th is normally when everyone starts to roll in from out of town.  The day will be filled with riding and some of the best Cajun food from the many local restaurants in the area.  There will also be vendor viewing all day from some of the state’s top wakeboard gurus, and the ever famous video premier that night at Karma Downtown Bar  Following the video we’ll throw down with one of the south’s hottest DJ’s from our boys over at TUNZ music for one slamming after party.

Saturday will start early with breakfast being cooked by the good ole Cajun cooks at McGee’s Landing.  The vendor areas will open around 9:00 a.m. for everyone to check out the latest boats and gear for the 2009 season and great deals on all the left over ‘08 gear.  Of coarse we will enjoy riding all day and like normal everyone tying their boats up for the all day party.  That after noon will be the ever famous hottest ladies of LSF bikini contest with a $250 prize and gear. Saturday night is when the biggest and baddest riders throw it all down for the title of Rail King of LSF ‘09 and the $800.00 prize. Following the Rail Jam the party will Kick into over drive with the hottest after party this summer.

Sunday will be the last day of LSF ’09.  Vendors will open the booths again around 9:00 a.m. for everyone and breakfast will be served until 10:00 a.m. at McGee’s landing.  Sunday will be a relaxed day with Cajun bands on the LSF band stand.  After lunch when everyone recovers from Saturday night were going to start the LSF ‘09 Wake King Double-Up Contest.  This year’s riders will be battling it out against some of the top riders for bragging rights as the LSF’09 King of Wake and a hand full of cold hard cash.  LSF ‘09 is eleven years strong and we plan on making this the best ever so remember to get your crew together and make you plans to be in the swamp for Louisiana Spring Fling 2009.
