Monster Energy Tigé Tour Hits the Road

This weekend the Monster Energy Tigé Tour will kick off its 2010 tour in Younghusband, SA, Australia on the Murray River SA. The 10th year of the tour will stop at 29 event days with over 300 wakeboarders riding in, behind, on and with wakeboarders and wakeboarding equipment on the planet.

Headed up by TeamTigé’s John Henson and Daniel Watkins, along with Scotty Broome and Brenton Priestley, the tour is spreading the wakeboarding love to anyone and everyone in their tracks. In tow is a  2010 Tigé RZ2, the flagship twenty-two foot boat with a seating capacity of 15 people and a 1,000 liter ballast system as standard (in Australian spec), this wake-churning beast is set to give all wakeboarders a pro-level experience. The RZ2 also has the revolutionary TigéTouch, a new feature in the 2010 boats allowing the driver to control all operations of the boat at the touch of a screen.

The ProWake Academy on the Gold Coast is on the road with the Monster Energy Tigé Tour and head coach John Henson will be on-hand at every event to make sure every rider is pushing their personal progression during every set. When asked to mention a highlight of the upcoming schedule, he simply laughed and said “check out the boat to start with, it’s the baddest-looking boat in Australia with the best engineering behind it.”

The backing of Monster Energy takes us on the best Tigé Tour to date, including Chad Reeds Monster Energy Super X Series where the boat will be on the in field of the stadium at Sydney and Brisbane and we get to support some really cool local events in Australia stopping in at YHK this weekend at Younghusband (SA), Doonstock at Bonnie Doon (Vic) and the Tigé Owners Reunion in Grafton (NSW)”.

In addition to the experience of the riders who will be on the tour, Reeds went on to say “we have heaps of giveaways for everyone along the way and the best companies in the industry flowing us gear for everyone.  It’s definitely going to be an experience of a lifetime”.
