Residents of the greater Kansas City area, we’ve got your weekend of fun all planned out! Head over to Kansas City Watersports, where the best cable wakeboarders in the world will be battling it out for cash and glory on the second stop of the Monster Energy Triple Crown presented by Alliance Wakeboard Magazine.

The tour started off in Texas, where local by Tom Fooshee dominated. Will he be able to defend in Kansas City? Not if Nick Davies or many of the other riders on the stacked list of confirmed athletes have anything to say about it! The latest Pro Tour champion Bob Soven has his ticket to the heartland booked, as do Kevin Henshaw and Shane Bonifay as well as a heap of European cable greats, and more!

With a healthy mixture of boat and cable riders in attendance, the Ten-80 obstacles only competition should be a major highlight of the weekend. This timed jam-format event will truly showcase what’s possible on the obstacles at KCW.

The action gets started on Saturday morning at 10am, with competition all weekend long. But perhaps the best reason to head out to KCW is the cable will be open intermittently through out the day. That means you, yes you, can ride! Share the start dock with a pro, get some tips, test out the latest equipment from Ronix Wake and Liquid Force, and get wet! A two-day event pass is only $50!

Don’t miss out, it’s all happening July 31-Aug 1 in KAnsas City, MO. Visit kcwatersports.com/ or thewwa.com for more info. If you can’t make it out, be sure to stay tuned to Alliancewake.com all weekend for photos and updates!
