US Snowboarding Grand Prix – Boreal – 8:30pm ET/PT in Snow Pack
The second U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix of the season occurred at Boreal, California where riders were treated to an Olympic size 22-foot halfpipe. With the Vancouver Games a little over a year away, riders were excited to compete in a similar size pipe as they will see in Vancouver in order to hone the tricks needed to be a contender. On the men’s side, Steve Fisher stood above a crowded pack to take the victory, while the U.S. Snowboarding women riders continue to dominate with Hannah Teter, Kelly Clark and Gretchen Bleiler taking the top three spots.

Visa US Snowboard Cross – Boreal – 8:30pm ET/PT in Snow Pack
The Visa Snowboardcross Championship Series crowns the best male and female snowboardcross as national champion. At the first stop of the series, Nate Holland and Graham Wantanabe continued their success from X Games and went one and two at Boreal. Lindsey Jacobellis continues to dominate the women’s field and lead each of her heats to climb onto the top spot on the podium.
