Foothill Ranch, CA – 1/11/08 – Oakley's first wake film Push Process will lead off the X-Dance action sports film festival in Salt Lake City, UT Saturday January 19 from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. This is an amazing story for the project! Oakley is nominated as a finalist in the Awards Ceremony to be held Wednesday January 23. In 2006 Oakley won Best Core Film award with The Community Project, and Justin Stephens the Push Process Director won Best Core Film Award with The Truth in 2007. Oakley is hoping the judges are pleased with our contribution in 2008 and will award the films according to their strengths.

"X-dance is all about celebrating the growth of actions sports and the filmmakers who document its progression,” says Justin Stephens, director of Push Process, Oakley’s latest release which is a part of X Dance 2008. “As a filmmaker in the action sports community I respect and look forward to this event each year. It’s an honor to have Push Process included, and to kick things off as the first screening is even more exciting. It means a great deal to everyone who worked on the project.”

It is an honor to be the first production company to screen a film at the festival. And Oakley is asking for your assistance in making this an amazing screening. Please come out and help us pack the theatre. There are 250 seats and we want this event to sell out!!

The screening will start with opening statements from the Director, producers, and athletes. A quick photo opportunity of the entire Push Process group, a slide show and then we will show the movie. Below are the details.
