ORLANDO, FLA (February 19, 2013) — Orlando Watersports Complex (OWC) is excited to announce the Grand Re-Opening of their Pro Shop on Saturday, March 2nd. This event will feature live entertainment throughout the day with DJ Drop Top, the Kevin Sutton Show, Indian Line contest, giveaways, food trucks and more.

Since becoming part of Aktion Parks, OWC has made some exciting changes and is eager to debut its new Pro Shop and programs which will take effect on March 2nd. The new layout of the Pro Shop is designed with the customer experience in mind, and its new programs are aimed at encouraging more people to give watersports a try.

The new programs cater to all levels of riders from beginners who want to learn for the very first time to the most advanced riders who want to take their skills to a whole new level.  OWC’s program for new riders includes a “get up guarantee” which is designed to remove much of the intimidation of learning to ride and ensure that new participants will have a great experience from the very first time they visit the park.

On March 2nd OWC will also be offering a 2-hour wrist band to the first 30 people through the door.

“The OWC team is excited to provide an improved experience for our customers as well as programs that encourage new people to experience our sport,” stated Correct Craft’s CEO Bill Yeargin. “This is just the first of many exciting changes to come to OWC,” Yeargin added.

The Orlando Watersports Complex (OWC), owned by Correct Craft subsidiary Aktion Parks, is a world class facility for wakeboarding, wakeskating, kneeboarding, and waterskiing. With two cable lakes and a boat lake, OWC caters to riders and skiers of all levels. OWC hosts some of the largest wakeboarding events in the world and is frequented by top pro athletes year round making it one of the world’s most recognized destinations in watersports.
