Overton’s to sponsor watersports INT Amateur Tour

The watersports retail giant has signed on as the Platinum sponsor of the 2011 INT Amateur Tour, which will encompass hundreds of watersports events in more than 25 states throughout the nation in the coming months.

The INT Amateur Tour promotes watersports events for the entire family, allowing competitors of all ages and abilities to showcase and grow their skills in slalom skiing, wakeboarding, wakeskating and kneeboarding. Overton’s will be the platinum sponsor for the tour, and have a presence at hundreds of events that will be held from New England to the Pacific Coast in the coming months.

The first tour events will be held in May and the season will conclude with West, Central and East regional championships in September at Villa Lagos near Gerber, CA, at Victory Lake near North Little Rock, AR, and at Coble’s Ski School in Lillington, North Carolina. INT offers divisions for participants of all ages and ability levels, from beginner to pro.  Each event offers non-intimidating competition and family fun.
