Polaroid is building a stable of world class athletes to promote and demonstrate how our line of affordable hi-definition sports video cameras make the already exciting world of action sports even more vivid, exhilarating and fun. The latest athletes to join the Polaroid Action team are wakeboarding phenoms Harley Clifford and Julian Cohen.
At only 19 years old, Australian Harley Clifford is a veteran of MTV’s Wake Brothersreality series and already has been crowned “King of Wakeboarding” twice. An extremely talented athlete, Harley hit the scene early — dominating contests while barely into his teens. Now, at the ripe old age of 19, he’s counted among the sport’s elite and taking top honors on a consistent basis. Harley is a three-time world champion, two-time world cup champion, five-time Australian national champion and three-time U.S. National Champion – so far.
Known for his friendly, jovial demeanor as well as his killer wakeboarding skills, Julian Cohen is an entertainer both on and off the water. By the time he was 14, he became the first and youngest wakeboarder to land a 1080 in a cable competition. Since then, he’s climbed the rankings and become a crowd favorite wherever he competes. His achievements include placing at the 2011 World Cable Championships, the 2011 USA Boat Nationals and gaining first on the 2011 USA wakeboard listing. He recently was ranked 4th at the 2013 Wake Park World Championships Pro Features.
