Over the years I’ve taken a lot of portraits of a lot of different wakeboarders and wakeskaters. This past weekend I had to do some hard drive backup/organization for a lot of my archives and found myself looking over some pictures I hadn’t seen in a long time. The old action shots are always fun to look at because you can see how much the sport has changed and progressed in a relatively short period of time, but sometimes the portraits tell just as important of a story. Whether for an interview with an “it” rider, a shot for a company’s marketing campaign, or just a quick grab for no reason other than to snap a photo in some decent light, a portrait can say a lot. Here are some I found that I thought you all might enjoy, from the comedic to the serious; if nothing else these just prove that we’re all getting older…
