December 12-14

Revolution Cable Park opened in late July and is now ready for it's first event. Not wanting to do a normal wakeboarding comp, the advertising geniuses on the 7th floor came up with The Brown Out.

Build a float/apparatus to "ride" around the lake. Each object must be made out of 80% cardboard and may be ridden by no one or by everyone on the team, one try per team.

$30 Entry Fee
$65 3 – Day Riding Pass

$500 cash prize for best "float" judged by style and creativity, making a lap around the park is just a bonus $250 Prize for best concept. Judging takes place Saturday night, judges will be from Alliance Wakeboard Magazine, Revolution cable Park and a Local art enthusiasts.

Cardboard along with other material will be provided on site prior to the event.

All entries will be shown Saturday night in the blue industrial building, next to the cable with a local DJ and flowing drinks.

Contest will start Sunday at 1:00 with a cable wakeboarding demo to follow involving crazy professional wakeboarders and wakeskaters.

Come be down with brown.
