Shop Shootout at Surf Expo
Surf Expo Attendees – Breaking news on the inaugural Shop Shootout coming up on September 3, 2014. It’s just been confirmed that Brandon Thomas, otherwise known as DJ Droptop, will be supplying tunes for the evening. Brandon will be fresh off the Pro Wakeboard Tour and he’s excited to celebrate the season with everyone at OWC.
Another noteworthy nugget came from our friends at Pabst Blue Ribbon who will be joining the party and supplying some of their legendary PBR brew! Established in Milwaukee in 1844, Mr. Pabst had no clue wakeboarding would become the best sport in the world, but the PBR crew has expressed their stoke in joining all of us for a fun evening.
For all of you riders looking to take some laps at OWC, we invite you to enter the Shop Shootout where you’ll ride with and be coached by some of the biggest names in the sport. We’re tossing ability level aside with our laid back format – you can ride whatever new 2015 set up you want as we’ll have demo’s on-site. The goal is to learn new tricks and have fun!
All participants will be going home with some sweet prizes. Each member of the winning team will be able to select a NEW 2015 set up of their choice from one of the brands below, that’s no joke! The 2nd place team will each earn a cool pair of new Sanuk kicks, and the 3rd place team will be telling time with their new Custom BROstock x Rockwell watches. Best of all is our Best Trick Prize, one lucky rider will go home with a NEW 154cm Blacklist snowboard from our friends at Arbor!
Orlando based Frank & Steins will be providing the eats for those of you with a healthy appetite and all Retailers will be going home with some cool prizes.
